Tank's Gold & Design Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing & Handling Time

All standard jewelry orders are processed within 1 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and federal or Florida state holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive a secondary notification with tracking data when your order officially ships.

Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces: Custom designs, stone settings, resizing, and made-to-order items require a specialized production window of 3 to 5 weeks before shipment. This production timeline is distinct from the shipping transit times outlined below.

Daily Cut-Off Time: Orders completed after 8:00 AM/PM EST will begin processing on the following business day.

2. Shipping Methods, Delivery Estimates, and Sales Tax

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. In accordance with the Florida Department of Revenue, sales tax will be applied to your total order (including shipping and handling charges where legally required) based on the specific discretionary sales surtax of your delivery destination's county.

3. Compliance with Delivery Timelines & Delay Notifications

We establish our delivery estimates based on reasonable processing baselines. Under the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Mail Order Rule and the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA):

If a shipment is delayed beyond our stated delivery window (or beyond 30 days if a window is unspecified), we are legally required to notify you immediately via email.

This notification will provide a revised shipping date and grant you the choice to either consent to the extended delay or cancel your order for a full, immediate refund to your original payment method.  

4. High-Value Package Security, Insurance, and Signatures

To protect high-value jewelry shipments from transit theft, we implement strict logistical safeguards:

Discreet Outer Packaging: All items are securely packed in unbranded, discreet outer boxes or mailers that do not indicate the valuable jewelry contents inside.

Mandatory Signature: All shipments valued at or above $500 and above strictly require a direct signature upon delivery. The carrier will not release the package without a physical signature.

Transfer of Risk & Ownership: In accordance with the Florida Uniform Commercial Code (Fla. Stat. § 672.319), all shipments are fully insured by Tank's Gold & Design until the package is successfully delivered and signed for at the designated destination. Once the carrier logs a successful delivery or signature, risk of loss transfers entirely to the buyer.

5. P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO Restrictions

Due to mandatory signature and carrier insurance constraints on high-value jewelry, we [can / cannot] ship items valued over $1,000 to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. If a P.O. Box is entered at checkout for a high-value item, our customer support team will pause processing and contact you to secure a valid physical residential or commercial address.

6. Lost, Damaged, or Missing Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, or fails to arrive within the designated tracking window, please contact our support team immediately at jtoosmooth2374@gmail.com.

Damaged Shipments: Please retain all original packaging materials, outer shipping boxes, and the damaged jewelry item. To process an insurance claim, we require that you email us clear photographic evidence of both the packaging and the damage within 30 days of receipt.

Marked "Delivered" But Missing: If the carrier logs a "Delivered" scan but you have not received the item, please check with household members, neighbors, or property management first. Tank's Gold & Design cannot legally assume liability or issue refunds for packages stolen after a verified, correct delivery scan has been executed by the carrier to your designated address.
